This is one of the most beautiful canyoning routes in Pelion, perfect for both adults and children. It combines breathtaking natural scenery, a wide variety of activities, and just the right level of challenge to keep you engaged from beginning to end. It is an experience that allows you to enjoy every moment in a truly paradise-like environment.
The route includes easy hiking through dense forest, passages using technical equipment at points of particular interest, the traversal of a small cave, canyoning, and plenty of fun in the water with optional jumps and natural slides.
The meeting point is the parking area in the square of Kissos village, Pelion. From there, we follow a paved rural road and after approximately 2 km we reach the starting point of the activity. Transportation with the company’s 9-seat van is also available.
At the starting point, each participant receives a personal backpack containing the necessary equipment. We then begin a pleasant 20-minute hike through the forest until we reach the entrance of the canyon. There, the group prepares for the activity, puts on the equipment, receives a safety briefing and basic instruction, and gets ready for the descent.
The canyon features seven waterfalls ranging from 7 to 25 meters in height, with crystal-clear turquoise waters colored by the unique geology of Pelion. Along the route, there are opportunities for jumps and natural water slides, all of which are optional.
The canyon rewards visitors with spectacular scenery. Waterfalls cascading into emerald pools, lush aquatic vegetation, and impressive rock formations create landscapes that resemble living works of art. The first breathtaking views appear at the natural balcony near the beginning of the route, overlooking the large upper pool and the springs where water emerges directly from the rocks, creating a truly magical setting.
The activity ends at the exit of the canyon, and the walk back to the vehicles takes only about five minutes, leaving you with unforgettable memories and lasting impressions of this remarkable adventure.
